On 8 December the world remembered John Lennon's death. It was a cold night in New York, in 1980 and Lennon was coming back to his home (at Dakota appartment) when Mark David Chapman, 25, fired five shots from a. 38 which killed John Lennon. He died in transit to hospital. Chapman was a Lennon fan and he is in jail until now. John Lennon was 40 years old and he was married with Yoko Ono. His body was cremated on 10 December 1980, 2 days after his dead and his ashes were given to his wife. All Lennon and Beatles fans remember this day singing songs like "Imagine" (his most known single hit), and all The Beatles songs.
